I am always looking for ways to make our home warmer, more family friendly, or more livable, whichever way you want to look at it. A great opportunity has presented itself to my family, and we are moving in October. I know exactly what our new home will look like inside and out. So I am progressively buying things as I can to decorate when we move in. I figured I better start buying now, rather than wait and buy it all at once when we move in. That would be a big hit all at once, and this way I can save up and buy as I can.

My primary focus right now is lighting. We have table lamps, but they are pretty dated, or, were cheap to begin with. We even have a table lamp that has to be unplugged to be turned off. We have no mood lighting, or ways to dim the lights. We can either be in the dark or spot light UFO’s. Also, our lamps are boring… they have no personality, and some are starting to get that “HEY I’m dirty look!” No matter how much you clean them they never look clean. After looking around CSNLighting.com, I have found many table lamps that would look amazing in the new house.

I love this lamp. Alton One Light Art Glass Table Lamp not only is it beautiful it would go great in our new living room. Most of the room is accented in red with throw pillows, a vase, and a few nick knacks. This lamp is high up on my list.

This is another one of my favorites. The Bradford Green Table Lamp in Nickel. This lamp would look great in our new den. The den will have a little more masculine feel with accents of green, cream and beige.

This lamp is a shock to me because our bedroom is going to be in lavenders, and purples. The Volant II One Light Glass Table Lamp in Purple is gorgeous. I haven’t been able to find any table lamps in purple that would work. I love this lamp!
