As I posted yesterday I had this great idea to make my friend Lacy a cheesecake for her Leap Year Birthday today. It seems like I make Lacy a cheesecake every year. Cheesecake obsessed is what I call Lacy! Chocolate is her favorite, but I don’t think she would turn any cheesecake down.
I love cheesecake myself so I can't say much. Guess what! Lacy was called out of town for work on her Leap Year Birthday ugh! She is going to be gone an entire week. So now I have a cheesecake and no Lacy. When she gets home we will be gone for Spring Break. What to do ... what to do?
Kevin and I racked our brains last night and decided we would order a Cheesecake online and have it mailed to Lacy's hotel. I called the hotel and they said they would keep it at the front desk until she walks in from work. How great is that? We didn't know that Lacy was being sent out of town until late last night so there was no way for us to have it sent to Lacy in time for her birthday. The great news is it will make it tomorrow. Boy is she going to be surprised when it’s waiting for her
On more than one occasion I haven’t had time to go shopping for a gift, or I didn’t know what to buy someone so I have left it to the experts by buying something online and allowed them to do the work for me.
Who wouldn't want to get a surprise cheesecake in the mail? What a great pick me up for someone who is bummed about being sent out of town! When I have a friend of family member that just needs a hug this is the easiest way for me do to it from a distance is to send them something they would love.... Cheesecake!
