I didn’t have high expectations for today’s Summer Sizzle weigh in. After all four of the days this week I was eating and living it up in New Orleans only to come home and weigh in on Wednesday morning only to find that I have gained 1.8 lbs. I was expecting worse yet it crushed me at the same time. I hate working hard only to slide backwards.
I decided that I wasn’t going to let this minor setback derail me, and it didn’t not only did I lose the 1.8 lbs. that I gained while in New Orleans but I lost an additional 1 pound.
Although 1 pound doesn’t sound like a lot it is when you consider that I actually lost 2.8 pounds this week to make up for the 1.8 I gained while in a mini vacation.
I am beyond proud of myself because I worked hard and I earned it! I was focused and determined I was not going to see a gain for my weigh in today! Thrilled doesn’t even begin to explain how I am feeling.
Last summer (like this summer) I went to New Orleans during my summer challenge only to never return to my diet. This year I decided that I wanted this too bad to let my vacation be the reason I gave up and never moved forward.
Well look out world I am moving forward and I am full speed ahead! So far I have lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks and guess what I am damn proud of those 9 pounds!!
Week 4 will be no exception!
- Adding a lot of water! I am hoping to get in 1 gallon a day we will see but I am hoping! 128 ounces is the goal!
- I am going to keep my calories at 1700 as recommended by myfitnesspal.com (ReadytoShine is my username friend me)
- I am going to do no less than 6 hours of exercise and looking forward to trying a new arm weigh exercise. I have such fat arms that I need some serious help! Suggestions please!
- I am going to lose 3 lbs. this week or die trying lol!
