A week from today is the first day back to school and I have to tell you I am not at all ready for it. When school starts it seems like life goes into a tailspin! The nights get shorter, the homework gets harder, and there is always another test around the corner. My frustration level goes up, and the time available to make dinner seems to fall by the way side.
I am trying to come to grips with the fact that this semester is going to be much fuller than we are accustom to. That will mean planning ahead and being ready for the week to come. If we are prepared I think we will survive it without going out to dinner too often. That is always our short coming! It’s so easy to drive through and pick up dinner verses actually cooking, but the calories and the prices are killer!
With the holidays approaching (126 ish days until Christmas?? WOW) and my husband and I both trying to lose weight we are going to be trying our hardest to keep the family eating at home as much as possible.
Here is our menu plan for the week. What’s on your menu?
