Happy Labor Day!!
I was asked last year why we celebrate Labor Day. I never really thought about it I knew the gist of why we celebrated Labor Day, but more than anything Labor Day has always been about having barbeque and the day off. I thought I would share what I found out for those of you who had the same question.
The first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. God Bless American and the people who keep American moving forward! Enjoy your day off!!
