Secret Recipe Club Reveal Day: Fabulously Fun Food

I like to consider myself a macaroni and cheese expert because I love it so much. I won’t eat it out of a box or out of a freezer case. If I am going to eat mac-n-cheese than it has to be homemade no exceptions!

Thanks to the Secret Recipe Club I was given the opportunity to explore Fabulously Fun Food. I came across the recipe Golden Macaroni and cheese and I knew this was a recipe with my name written all over it.

My family was coming over for a Sunday dinner and I knew we needed a side dish to go along with our roast beef and carrots. This recipe had to be on the menu.

The recipe was super simple to put together. I followed it exactly as written, and I am certainly happy I did. I didn’t even realize it until I was already putting the recipe together that it called for onion salt. I loved this idea because it was different. This was the first time I had seen a recipe that called for onion salt. I love using new products (to me). I had it on hand, but had never even opened the bottle.

I didn’t tell anyone was I was making other than the roast beef. About 30 minutes into the baking process I noticed people gravitating towards my kitchen. I heard multiple times… “What’s in the oven” the best they got out of me was … “a surprise?”

Once dinner was served everyone was ready to dig in. I don’t think they cared a thing in the world about the roast beef. All they wanted was the Golden macaroni and cheese. I was right there along with them. More please!!

The recipe received rave reviews even from the pickiest eater in the family. Two tiny fingers up from baby Abby!!

I loved the Golden Macaroni and Cheese it was creamy and delicious and a complete keeper recipe!! Thanks Fabulously Fun Food for making our Sunday family dinner a complete success!!

I'm like you, it has to be homemade mac n cheese or none at all. Yours looks like it turned out delicious!
