Box Tops For Education! @BTFE #Joplin

I have collected Box Tops For Education for the last few years to help out our local schools. If you don’t know what they are let me explain: Box Tops For Education is a way to earn money for your children’s schools. On participating products you will find little box tops that look like this:

They can be found on products like Pillsbury Biscuits, Totino’s Pizza Rolls, Kotex, and so on. You just have to keep an eye out to find them. You have probably thrown a ton away if you didn’t know what they were used for. They have monetary values on them much as 10cents 5 cents or whatever. When the school receives the box tops they can redeem them for things the school needs like gym equipment, books, and desk, whatever the school is in need of at the time.

Right now the Joplin, MO schools system is collecting Box Tops For Education in hopes of using the money from the box tops they collect to help rebuild their schools.
If you are interested in donating your box tops to help Joplin mail your box tops to the follow address:

Take*FINAL DAY* Dad Out For a Frosty at Wendy’s this Father’s day! #TreatItFwd @Wendys

Treat Dad to a Frosty on over Father’s Day weekend!

For every Frosty purchased on Father’s Day Weekend (that’s June 18 and 19), 50 cents from the purchase will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. We would like to encourage you and your family to visit your local Wendy’s this weekend to treat Dad to a Father’s Day Frosty and help the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

This is a great cause! The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption believes that they have a responsibility to be the voice of foster care adoption, so that every child finds a family. They exist to find homes for children who are waiting to be adopted from foster care in North America.

In the process, they work to inform adults who may have misperceptions about foster care adoption that keep them from getting involved. Through the money they raise, they are able to provide free educational resources, promote awareness, assist policymakers and employers, and support adoption professionals and agencies throughout the United States and Canada to ensure that every child finds a forever home.

Please help the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption make new Daddy’s this Father’s day!

Interested in Donating without Spending Money??
There are so many ways to donate! Check them out!

1. Twitter – Use the Treat it Forward application on www.facebook.com/frosty (Treat it Fwd tab), or use the hashtag: #TreatItFwd. A donation will be made, by Wendy’s, for each designated tweet or re-tweet made from Treat it Forward.

2. Facebook – Send a Facebook friend a “virtual” Frosty, or tell friends about Father’s Day Frosty Weekend through the Facebook application found on www.facebook.com/frosty (Treat it Fwd tab); as a result, Wendy’s will make a donation.

3. Also, from Facebook, on Father’s Day Weekend only (June 18 & 19), offer a “Here’s to You, Dad!” Frosty “virtual toast” by snapping a photo of you raising your Frosty cup to Dad, tagging it with the words “Wendy’s Father’s Day Frosty Weekend” and posting it to Wendy’s Facebook wall or tweeting it; this, too, will result in a donation from Wendy’s.

4. Foursquare – Every person who ‘checks in’ to a Wendy’s during Father’s Day weekend only (June 18 & 19) will result in a donation from Wendy’s.
