Take Dad Out For a Frosty at Wendy’s this Father’s day! #TreatItFwd @Wendys

Treat Dad to a Frosty on over Father’s Day weekend!

For every Frosty purchased on Father’s Day Weekend (that’s June 18 and 19), 50 cents from the purchase will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. We would like to encourage you and your family to visit your local Wendy’s this weekend to treat Dad to a Father’s Day Frosty and help the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

This is a great cause! The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption believes that they have a responsibility to be the voice of foster care adoption, so that every child finds a family. They exist to find homes for children who are waiting to be adopted from foster care in North America.

In the process, they work to inform adults who may have misperceptions about foster care adoption that keep them from getting involved. Through the money they raise, they are able to provide free educational resources, promote awareness, assist policymakers and employers, and support adoption professionals and agencies throughout the United States and Canada to ensure that every child finds a forever home.

Please help the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption make new Daddy’s this Father’s day!

FINAL DAY Help Us Support the Houston Food Bank #cadillaccaresHOU @HoustonFoodBank @HoustonCadillac 5 DAYS TO GO!!!

The Houston Area Cadillac Dealers have a contest going on called The Cadillac Cares Challenge. There are three Charities competing , the YMCA of Greater Houston, the Houston Food Bank, and the Children’s Museum of Houston  which are all great causes. The charity with the most votes in 4 weeks (5/9-6/5) will win a $50,000 advertising campaign for the future. Even the “Losers” will go home with $1000. Imagine how much this could help any one of them achieve their goals this year!
The Houston Food Bank is competing to win the $50,000  advertising campaign, and we want them to WIN!
This organization is very near and dear to my heart because when I was a kid the Houston Food Bank helped my family once with a couple of bags of groceries to get through until my parents unemployment checks started rolling in. Both my Dad and my Mom had been laid off from their jobs, and money was very tight. A large bill came up that they were not prepared for and it had to be paid. That bill took the grocery money. My parents turned to the Houston Food Bank for help and they stepped up to feed us for a few days.  I have never forgotten their generosity and I always make sure to donate anytime I can. My family was lucky to only have to ask the Houston Food Bank for help once, but there are many families in the Houston area that rely on the Houston Food Bank daily. Please help us help the Houston Food Bank get enough votes to win a $50,000 advertising campaign for the future.
Please take a moment and vote for the Houston Food Bank! Even if you don’t live in Houston your vote does count, and will help! You can vote daily! We are hoping to see them win a $50,000 advertising campaign!

One or the many things I love about the YMCA is it’s commitment to putting Christian principles into practice. YMCA programs, activities and relationships teach and model Judeo-Christian values in order to strengthen kids, families and communities. Caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, faith are the core values of the YMCA.
The YMCA is all about strengthening the community around them and working with
everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow & thrive.
The YMCA makes accessible the support & opportunities that empower people & communities to learn, grow & thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living & social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth & teen, improves the nation’s health & well-being, & provides opportunities to give back & support neighbors
